Just a quick rant (I know, last night I whined, now I rant... bear with me. I haven't been sleeping well and it is starting to show).
I don't think I've mentioned that I am a transplanted Southerner yet. That's right, I grew up in North Carolina. As such, I love ACC basketball. Living out here in Pac-10 territory makes it hard to catch as many games as I'd like (although the popularity of Carolina and Duke do make it slightly easier) so I always anxiously await this time of year - Tourney Time. All week I have been looking forward to spending today through Sunday camped out in front of the television, getting my fill of basketball (I know, it's a disease). Imagine my disappointment this morning when I check to see what time the viewing party could begin and I found that the first two games today (out of four) were only available on Pay Per View!!!??? No problem I thought. I'll just make the sacrifice and PPV them - they can't be more than five or six bucks a game, right? WRONG. Try $14.95 per game. Sorry, but that crossed my line of "worthwhile." *sigh* I guess I'll have to make do with the Pac-10 tournament coverage until my beloved Duke Blue Devils are on at 4:00.
Next year I'll have to plan a trip home to my parents so I can watch without interruption :) Hi Mom! Hi Dad! I know it's your anniversary but can I borrow your tv? Oh, yeah. Before I forget, Happy Anniversary Mom & Daddy! Thirty-eight years - amazing! (or is it 39? Sorry, the sleep thing again, I can't remember for sure). You two are an inspiration for everyone. Enjoy!
Oh, and one more thing: Go Devils!
***UPDATED*** It is worse than I originally thought. Turns out the fourth game of the day is also PPV. Oh the humanity. I may need treatment for withdrawal.

Ooo. I'm a little late coming in here, but I loved the yarn stash post! All those pictures of new yarn was enough to postpone the urge to visit my own LYS. :D I always love fresh yarn, still in the skein, almost hate to knit something with it! ;)
